maintenance of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) skills and increased confidence in helping others following the programme

Erwerb von fach- und bereichsspezifischen Kompetenzen

Most Crew alumni reported maintaining at least one MHFA skill, with some retaining several. For many participants, the ability to identify mental health problems translated into a greater confidence to help with such challenges. Participants reported increased knowledge of mental health problems, that they used to manage their own health as well as educate members in their family and community. A few participants also reported good quality of MHFA support for other people, by describing instances of when they enacted these skills in real life. Some participants implemented these skills immediately while at school, while others continued to use these skills with their siblings, friends, and colleagues.
